Ημερομηνία και τόπος γέννησης: 12/9/1972 στο Οντάριο Καναδά Αποφοίτησα από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών το 1996 (Εγγραφή μετά από επιτυχείς πανελλήνιες εισαγωγικές εξετάσεις το 1990). Ειδικεύθηκα στη Ρευματολογία στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο Πατρών και έλαβα τον τίτλο ειδικότητας μετά από επιτυχείς εξετάσεις το 2005. Στην συνέχεια εργάστηκα ως Διευθυντής Ρευματολογίας (consultant) στο Εθνικό Σύστημα Υγείας (NHS) του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου. (Consultant in Rheumatology, Department of Rheumatology, Dudley Group of Hospitals NHS Trust, Russells Hall Hospital, Birmingham, UK) από Ιαν 2006 έως Noεμ 2006. Απέκτησα το διδακτορικό μου δίπλωμα από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών το 2006 με βαθμό «άριστα». Εργάστηκα ως επιμελητής Ρευματολογίας στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο Παρών από το 2006 έως 2009. Το 2008 εκλέχθηκα λέκτορας Παθολογίας/Ρευματολογίας της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών (ορκομωσία Ιουν. 2010). Το 2013 εκλέχθηκα επίκουρος καθηγητής (ΦΕΚ Σεπ 2013) θέση την οποία κατέχω έως σήμερα. Τα ερευνητικά μου ενδιαφέροντα επικεντρώνονται στον ρόλο του Β λεμφοκυττάρου στην παθογένεια της ίνωσης στα πλαίσια της συστηματικής σκλήρυνσης και στους μηχανισμούς οστεοβλαστογένεσης στα ρευματικά νοσήματα με ειδικό ενδιαφέρον στο Wnt μονοπάτι και τους τρόπους ρύθμισης της ενεργότητάς του. Η ενεργής ενασχόληση με την έρευνα τα τελευταία χρόνια έχει αποδώσει ικανό αριθμό δημοσιεύσεων σε έγκριτα διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά. Ο συνολικός αριθμός δημοσιεύσεων είναι 27 με περίπου 500 αναφορές και h index 12.
