• Medical education: From October 1989 up to June of 1995, Medical school of University of Patras.
• Specialty in Orthopaedics and Traumatology: In 2006, after one year training in general surgery, one year in Paediatric Orthopaedics and four years training in the Orthopaedic Department of University of Patras
• Doctoral Diploma: In 2005, with an ‘Excellent’ grade, in Medical school of University of Patras. The topic of my thesis was: «Metalloproteinases and their tissue inhibitors in periprosthetic tissues of loosened components of hip and knee replacements. Effect of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs on their production and on cytokine and PGE2 production».
• Fellowship in Julius-Maximilians University of Wurzburg (GERMANY): From 09/01/06 up to 07/07/06. Main topics were hip, knee and shoulder replacements.
• Fellowship in Orthopaedic trauma: Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham (UK) from 01/09/2009 up to 31/01/2010
• Fellowship in Lower Limb Arthroplasty: University hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire from 01/03/2010 up to 31/12/2010
• Current Position: From 03/01/2012 lecturer in the department of Anatomy-Histology-Embryology of University of Patras.
