Γενική Περιγραφή
The aim of this course is to present the main mechanisms of action of ionizing radiation in cells and organisms, and methods of protection against the use of ionizing radiation in medicine.
The course includes:
- The action of ionizing radiation on cell.
- Repair of radiation injury.
- Radiosensitivity of normal tissues and tumors.
- Radiosensitising and Radioprotective substances.
- Applications of radiobiology in radiotherapy.
- Radiation protection.
