Summary of Curriculum Vitae

He was born in Patras, Greece where he completed his basic education. He graduated from the School of Medicine, University of Cluj-Napoca in Romania. He completed his PhD thesis in the School of Medicine, University of Patras, Greece and undertook a specialization in Interventional Radiology. He worked as a Consultant Interventional Radiologist in Patras University Hospital, Rion Greece. His current academic position is Associate Professor of Interventional Radiology in School of Medicine, University of Patras He participates in several research protocols and he has significant scientific and research work in Interventional Radiology, including numerous publications in peer review journals, and awards in international and national congresses. He is Fellow of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) (www.cirse.org), and had been member of the CIRSE Standards of Practice Committee. He is also member of the Hellenic Radiology Society (www.helrad.org), member of the Hellenic Society of Interventional Radiology and member of the Western Greece Radiology Society.
